mhm i don’t rlly like lavendertown

Anyone who goes to this comment section: please i need constructive criticism! I would appreciate it if you could tell me what i should edit on my story. Theres only a few paragraphs so its not long. But please if you have the time please give me advice. STORY Chapter One It was a windy day on Fleet Street. Not a soul was to be seen, except for one. Standing in front of a shop window was Phoebe Monroe. She had her eyes fixated on something inside the shop. A television, which played cartoons every Saturday morning. Ring!Ring! The shop door opened and out stepped an old woman who appeared to be the shop owner. “Hey! No loitering, either buy something or hit the road kid!” She sighed, slowly walking down the street in boredom. Phoebe was small for her age, 15, with short auburn brown hair that looked as if someone had just taken scissors and hacked away at it. And in fact, they had! A few weeks ago, her mother had told her she needed a haircut and that she, her mother, would do it herself since she was a hairdresser. But Mrs. Monroe had a kind of hatred for her daughter ever since the accident, so she just cut random bits off, leaving Phoebe's bangs too long and the rest of her hair too short. Of course this led to her classmates bullying her daily, but she didn't mind much. After all, hair is simply that, hair. It would grow back in a few months and then she would get another haircut. Simple. SMACK! Something fell onto Phoebe's head. She looked up at a tree just above her. She could've sworn she’d seen something. “Or someone,” she muttered to herself. “What?” said a voice from behind her. “Charlotte?” She said, spinning around to face the person talking to her. “Hey Phoebe! What are you doing out here? It's getting late.” Charlotte was Phoebe's classmate, and not one she liked very much. Charlotte was like a shadow, she'd pick a person, and then proceed to follow them everywhere AND copy them. Clothing style, the way they talk, their favorite food. And Charlotte had chosen Phoebe. Phoebe glanced at Charlotte and then glanced at an imaginary watch. “Oh my gosh, you're right! It's late, your mother is probably worried sick! You should really be getting home!” Phoebe had managed to sound very convincing, making Charlotte start to sweat nervously. “Well, um, uh, I should be going, um!” Charlotte ran in a random direction in a hurry to get home. YES! She continued to walk home, happy that she'd gotten rid of Charlotte. ~~~ Phoebe slammed her front door shut and walked into the living room. Lying drunk on the couch was her mother, Delanie Monroe. Empty beer bottles were scattered across the living room , some broken and some half drank on their side, spilling onto the wooden floors. The TV was playing Judge Judy at full volume. Exasperated, she turned off the TV and picked up the mess. After picking everything up, Phoebe collapsed onto her bed, wondering what her dad would think about this if he was still there. Oliver Monroe was Phoebe's father, or as he would say, Bee's father. Oliver was the best kind of dad in Bee's opinion. He was around 46, with messy dark brown hair and deep brown eyes that kind of seemed like they could see right through you, so there was no point in lying to him. He was a rather kind soul, as compassionate and loving as a father should be, but he was rather shy and preferred to keep to himself. Oliver also didn't care what others thought. He himself said that when he was younger, he had a good friend who told him that everyone is given a little bit of weirdness, just a bit, and it is your job to decide whether to feed it and be your own kind of person, which was the best kind of person in Oliver's opinion, or to keep it hidden and follow everyone else like a sheep, to the point where that bit weirdness is just that. The tiniest oddity. She stared at the ceiling. It had been a year. Exactly one year since he died. Even so, it felt like yesterday. The police had shown up at their door, and there was noise, so much noise. Ambulance sirens, people yelling, cop whistles blowing to keep people back. And there he was, lying limp on the ground, eyes wide, blood everywhere. People tried to get him to an ambulance, but Bee knew it was too late. He wasn't breathing. He was still. Silent as a grave. The cops later took Bee and her mother to the station where they found out Mr. Monroe's cause of death. Mrs. Monroe was crying hysterically, screaming that he wasn't dead. But Phoebe was quiet. All of a sudden one of the officers pulled Phoebe aside. “I'm so sorry. You're going to have to be strong. You're going to be ok. It might take time, but eventually you'll be ok.” The officer looked sincere, but that wouldn't change what happened that night. “What did he say,” she managed to speak, even though it was a whisper. “What did he say before he died?” “Emily.” ~~~ Emily had been dead for as long as she could remember. Actually, that was the only thing she could remember. She didn’t know how she died, and she didn’t know why she was stuck on Earth. She didn’t really like it here, as there was no one to talk to. It wasn’t that she hadn’t tried though. Emily had thrown rocks through windows, wrote words on people's mirrors or walls, but she didn’t really know how to spell so people couldn’t really read it and thought their friends or siblings had tried to prank them. And this cycle went on for quite a while, that was until one rather windy day in August. Emily had been sitting in a tree, humming to herself while juggling some pinecones. After all there was nothing to do since no one could see her. She jumped, hearing footsteps from the sidewalk below her. There below her was a girl about Emily’s age, wearing jeans and a purple hoodie. Curious, Emily leaned out of the tree, forgetting the pinecones she had been holding, which proceeded to fall and smack the girl in the head.The girl looked up. Even though she knew nobody could see her, she still ducked out of the way. When she looked back, the girl was gone. There was something familiar about her, but at the same time Emily had definitely never met her. If she had she would remember. Right?

I honestly wanna see the whole "loli" trope that's about some young-looking, kid, or teen that basically acts like Columbo or Tohru Adachi (when he's not being evil) in behavior. Basically, a kid who acts like a casual, easygoing middle-aged bum, but is actually more mature and wise and has a lot more going for them than many people realize.

I'm sure this was already a thing because its gotten more track lately but ACOTAR? maybe who knows XD

I haven't seen the old video yet, but I wanted to comment as a fan of your work and fan of Hazbin Hotel. I don't usually like redesigns that make the characters totally different, and I especially don't like the HH ones because im tired of seeing them. But I always liked seeing your ideas unfold and your reasons behind them, and it didn't disappoint! Your first time redesigning them wasn't so great, I didn't like them because they weren't up to your usual standards. But I think you always het way to much hate, even when doing the same as others, and I didn't want to add fuel to the fire. But it's true that this fandom is very toxic when it comes to headcanon interpretations, my artists friends and I have been criticized as well because of how we interpret or like to draw certainly characters and situations. It sucks, but we're trying our best to improve the community. I loved your ideas, I don't imagine the show with them, as you said at the end it's more like an AU, but a really interesting one! Angel's arms idea was great, his drag persona was so pretty; I loved Niffty's fringe, I imagined her hair to be more yellow just because im her og design she already has that color, but your idea fits really well; I cannot explainn why or how but I alsl felt your Lucifer was a great interpretation of him. He looks like he's too old to care about fitting in? lol; And your whole idea with the exterminators is great! I think the show might try to push that with Sera tho, but the design was so neat and pretty. Wlmen like that being relentless killers sounds terrifying. Keep it up, love your work 🩷

Helped a lot , you can do this in traditional style by drawing the hands on another piece of paper ,cut it out and adjust till youre happy,then try to redraw the hand in the way youre happy with on the actual drawing or just glue the cut out one

As someone who’s enjoys the show alot but doesn’t partake in the streams and extra stuff, I agree with the idea that too many things in the show are directly explained in outside of the show. I see it as lazy storytelling. Show, don’t tell, Viv! No hate to the show, I enjoy it a lot, but I do think that if any other show went about things the way HH did, it would be laughed at/criticized. I’m mostly talking about details about the character’s pasts. Like we do learn a thing or two in the show, but rather than actually showing us the character backstory through the show, we learned practically everything about characters like Nifty and Alistor from streams. It just doesn’t sit right with me.
